On the back page under a woodcut of an eagle and shield is a treaty between the U.S. and the Ricara tribe of Indians. Includes the names of the Indian leaders who signed the treaty with an x mark, plus various military officers, and in type: John Quincy Adams. Other news of the day includes: "The National University" "Congress" and more. Several lottery advertisements as well. Staining and many stray ink marks on the front page, back page has various stray ink marks\, otherwise in good condition.
