Nice report on pg. 5 headed: M. De Lave On A Tight Rope Genessee Falls Successfully Crossed. Takes much of column, and mentions that Blondin, also a famous tight-rope performer, watched the event. Other news of the day includes: "On The Mississippi" "Further From California" "Probable Murder In Brooklyn" "From Pike's Peak" and much more. Archival mend to a minor tear at the top of each leaf, otherwise in good condition.
