RENO EVENING GAZETTE, Reno, Washoe County, Nevada, 1877 This is an 4 page newspaper which features news on pages 2 & 3 with a wealth of ads on the front & back pages, several of which are illustrated. Now a gambling mecca not far from Lake Tahoe, during the 1870's it was a mining town. This issue was never bound nor trimmed and is in very nice condition with a news agent's stamp in the masthead. The photo below is "generic" however the issue you receive will have a similar look and will be dated 1877. Previous to our recent purchase issues from Reno were extremely difficult to obtain.
