THE RAPID CITY DAILY JOURNAL, Dakota, March 21, 1886 The ftpg. has an interesting article headed: "Ho For the Hills" "The Crowds that are Coming--The Country & the City as Seen by a New Comer" which gives a nice overview of the area and the growth they have been experiencing. Other news of the day and a large number of ads, several of which are illustrated. Rarely do we have territorial newspapers from the Dakotas to offer (became a state in 1889). There are many tears at the folds with some text loss, and some loss at the margins as well (see photos). Must be handled carefully. Otherwise complete in four pages.
