Death of famed artist Thomas Nast...

Item # 177179 ·
HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, Dec. 20, 1902   The entire front page is a photo of Thomas Nast, the great American cartoonist. A related article is inside which includes a rare illustration of himself. Several additional pages have samples of his work. The tribute to Nast within this issue is in response to his death due to the Spanish Flu.

Other prints include: "The Arrival of Admiral Dewey in the Caribbean Sea" "Mr. David Belasco's New Production: The Darling Of The Gods" "The Assembly Ball" "Will Marconi Show us How to Talk Around the World?" "Modern Dairy Farms" "On the Slope of the Jungfrau" and more.
