HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, December 29, 1888  The front full page of the issue features a portrait of "Cardinal Charles Martial Allemand Lavigerie, Archbishop of Algiers." Inside are three large illustrations pertaining to "The Rideau Canal, Between Kingston and Ottawa, Canada." with accompanying article.
The doublepage centerfold is of "The New Home of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York." and is comprised of numerous illustrations. An article "The New West Washington Market" also features a full page illustration as well as a halfpage illustration "The Old West Washington Market". "The New Drexel Building" (Philadelphia) also features a 1/4 page illustration.
Complete in sixteen pages good condition, and contains additional prints and related text.
