HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, December 20, 1879  The full front page print is a political cartoon by famed artist Thomas Nast: "Borrowed Plumes--Mr. Jackdaw Conkling". Inside has a nice fullpg: 'Bicycle Match at Philadelphia' shows men on the 'boneshakers'. Fullpg: "Foot-Ball Match Between Yale & Princeton" is a fine print. Fullpg: "Canal Life" is a montage of ten prints; and a double page centerfold print: "English Church Architecture--Lichfield Cathedral".
Complete in 16 pages, good condition.
