HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, July 29, 1876 (with supplement)  Full front page Thomas Nast illustration: "The New Alliance" shows General Custer shaking hands with Sitting Bull. Inside has a full page Thomas Nast: "Getting in Tune.", two half-page illustrations "Romance on the Hudson" and "Reality on the Plains."; a quarter page portrait of "The Hon. Lot M. Morrill" with a related article; a half page print: "The Academy of Fine Arts, Philadelphia."
Of significance is the 'Supplement' which has 3 pages taken up with "Sitting Bull--Autobiography of the Famous Sioux Chief'" which includes 15 illustrations, supposedly done by Sitting Bull.
Complete in 16 pages and contains additional prints and related text.
