Africa' and 'Diamond Miners Gambling at Night'. A halfpage illustration "M. Issadier's Balloon, From Paris, Descending Near Dreux". A fullpage "Behind the Ramparts - A Critical Moment". An article "French Soldiers" contains three large illustrations. "The Strasburg Cathedral" includes a 3/4 page illustration. Full page: 'Taking The Census' is timely.
