HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, August 14, 1869 The front page features a halfpage illustration of "The New Mercantile Library Building, Philadelphia." Also, two small illustrations of the "Medal Presented to Midshipman T. B. M. Mason by the Life Saving Benevolent Association of New York." Inside is a nearly full page illustration is of "Henry Wadsworth Longfellow," three one-third page illustrations entitled "Cable House, Rouse's Hummock, Duxbury, Massachusetts," "Landing of the French Cable at Duxbury, Massachusetts," and "Celebration of the Completion of the French Cable at Duxbury, Massachusetts." Fullpage illustrations of "Grand Ball Given in Honor of President Grant at the Stetson House, Long Branch, July 26." and "Mr. A. T. Stewart's New Residence, Corner of Fifth Avenue and Thirty-Fourth Street, New York City." Another full page illustration is entitled "The Drive at Newport, Rhode Island." Seven small illustrations pertaining to "Central Park" including: "...Children's Cottage," "Floor Plan of Children's Cottage," "Children's Shelter," "Paleontological Studio at the Central Park Museum," "Boys' Play Ground...," "The Cascade...," and "Sheep on the Green..."
Complete in 16 pages and contains additional prints and related text.
