There are two full page illustrations "The Long Sleep" and "Protestant Mummeriers".  A nice full page illustration has 9 scenes of "View of the Public Institutions of Charity & Correction on Blackwell's Island, East River, N.Y." has some interesting scenes. One page consist of two halfpage illustrations entitled "Heron Strangled by an Eel" and "The Music Lesson".
The back page has 7 inch by 5 inch image, "The Championship Of The Atlantic", which features the 1st-ever appearance of Uncle Sam adorning chin whiskers.
