HARPER'S WEEKLY,  New York, February 8, 1868   The front cover illustration is entitled "Please Give Me a Penny, Sir!" and also has a commentary on the inside page in regards to the New York charities of the times. A full page "Art Schools of New York" shows 5 scenes. Great full page "Overland Mailcoach Crossing the Rocky Mountains--Scene in Guy's Gulch" in a snowstorm is very displayable and also has a small related article. Also "Winter Scenes on the Sea Board" & "The Story of a Pauper" in 8 scenes. A page consist of two half page illustrations entitled "Scene On a Southern Plantation" which shows a Black family and "Mt. Vesuvius in Eruption, December 20, 1867".
Complete in 16 pages and contains prints and related text.
