HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, March 26, 1859. The front page features the "The Wreck of the Adonis" ship. A small text article "The Sickles Case".  An article "The Terrible Homicide at Hawesville, Kentucky" with accompanying small illustration "Murder of Lowe in His Cell in Prison" and half page illustration "The Chase of Lowe by the Mob at Hawesville". "Flying Foxes Asleep--The Common Bat". Nearly halfpg: "Exhibition of the Boston Fencing Club". Full page "Purchase of Cuba Pictorially Considered" includes 9 cartoonish scenes. A half page "Foreign Fleets Before Vera Cruz" and halfpage "The Execution of the Murderers at Djeddah".
The issue is complete in 16 pages, in good condition, and contains additional prints and related text. See photos for details.
