"The Candidates for the Governorship of Pennsylvania" features the illustrations of 'Hon. Isaac Hazlehurst', "Hon. David Wilmot', and 'General William F. Packer'.
A nearly full-page article 'Fashionable Hats and Their Trimimings' features several small illustrations. 'Locating a Land-Warrant' features several accompanying illustrations. An article 'Rev. William Adams, D.D.' also features an illustration of him as well. An article: 'A Cruise Among the Malay Pirates' includes four illustrations, including a naval: 'Fight' & 'Firing the Village & Jungle'. Several back page cartoons.
Two articles have Brigham Young content: "Affairs in Utah" and "Brigham Young on the March of United States Troops to Utah".
