The front page has a nice banner headline that announces: "CHICAGO WINS COVETED PENNANT" with subheads including: "Takes Today's Game from New York Giants--Score 4 to 2" "Immense Throng Out To Watch The Greatest Game" and: "Mathewson and Brown the Opposing Pitchers" with more, and a photo of Roger Bresnahan.
The Cubs would go on to win the Series, it being the last Series then would win for 108 years, not capturing the title again until 2016.
Complete in 8 pages, small binding holes at the blank spine, very nice condition.
