Storage &  Display Options

Timothy Hughes Rare & Early Newspapers offers 3 archival quality storage options to meet your needs.
Shrink-wrapping (optional) is also available for each item purchased for a nominal charge.

Protective Folders

Single-issue storage and display folders are available in 8 sizes.  All are custom hand-crafted using acid-free 10 point Perma-Dur folder manila colored stock and clear Mylar archival polyester film, and are archival quality.  There is no better way to store your newly acquired treasures.

Deluxe Gift Portfolios

The attractive black buffalo grain vinyl portfolios (with decorative mahogany left spine) include the Timothy Hughes Rare & Early Newspapers logo stamped in gold leaf on the front cover and are constructed using acid-free archival quality materials. Your newspaper is placed within an inner transparent sleeve for protection and display. Provides an elegant touch for your extra-special gift.  Available in 3 sizes.  The gold-leaf logo, which cannot be customized, states: "Authentic & Historic Newspaper from the archives of Timothy Hughes Rare & Early Newspapers...  History's Newsstand".

Note: Although rare, some Sunday editions are too thick to fit within a portfolio. When this occurs, we place the front (displayable) section within the portfolio and the remainder of the issue within a storage folder. If you would prefer for this to not be done, please include a note in the comment field at checkout stating so.

Presentation Cases

Our archival quality presentation cases are the perfect storage and display choice when added protection is needed for multiple issues.  Each case contains 10 clear inner sleeves for the safe viewing and handling of your prized historic issues.  The presentation cases offer the perfect way to store your valuables.
