Page 3 has a report at the beginning of the 1874 baseball season with headings: "The National Game" "A Big Victory for the Atlantics Over the Baltimore Mosquitoes" with box scores. (see) I cannot find anything online affirming that there was a professional baseball team called the Baltimore Mosquitoes.
