THE EXAMINER, Louisville, Kentucky, June 19, 1847 A quite scarce anti-slavery newspaper which lasted but 2 1/2 years, from June 19, 1847 thru December 9, 1849. This is the volume 1, number 1 issue.
Page 3 has: "Senator Corwin and the Mexican War".
Four pages, slightly irregular at the blank margin & foxing to the upper left of the front page, otherwise rather good.
