This issue documents one of the significant events of man conquering the limits of his world with the successful capture of Mt. Everest. The front page has a two column heading: "Conquerors of Everest Toast to Queen, Begins Perilous Descent" (see) Reporting continues on page 15 with a few related photos. (see) It was coincidental that this event happened the same week as the coronation of Queen Elizabeth, hence the banner headline with photos.
Twenty-two pages, light toning and minor wear at the central fold and margins, generally in good condition.
