* Original Civil War reporting


The ftpg. has some reports on the election, headed: "The Election - A Great Union Triumph" which includes: "Our returns s we write are fragmentary & incomplete, but there is no doubt of the result...The stream of Union gains is unremitting...Pennsylvania, without which McClellan had not the ghost of a chance of success, has gone for the Union..." with more on some results by state. There is then a lengthy chart of the: "Maryland Election" with voting results for Lincoln and for McClellan.
There are many reports on the latest events in the Civil War.
Four pages, large folio size, archivally repaired at the spine with some loss, a few other archival mends at margins. Folder size noted is for the issue folded in half.
