THE VILLAGE VOICE, Greenwich Village, New York, December 22, 1975

The front page tells of a multi-page article written by Bella S. Abzug, the "Battling Bella", which begins on page 33: "The Women's Movement Is Still Moving."  The article includes a photo of her and is captioned: "Bella tells: This isn't the time for women to disband in favor of a 'textbook class struggle.'"
Also present is Arthur Bell's "Sylvia Awards", and an interesting feature on Alice Cooper. The front page has: "Why Texans Make It Big in New York", which includes a set of small photos of high-profile Texans who each garnered a high degree of success in New York.

Many of the other classic elements (Nat Hentoff, Jules Feifer, etc.) which helped make The Village Voice such an iconic publication are also present.

The issue is complete, has occasional edge tears, but is otherwise good. See images for details.

Provenance note: This issue comes from The Village Voice's own archives, part of their in-house collection used to create their digital archive.
Alert: Many issues of The Village Voice contain articles and/or photos which some consider offensive, and are certainly inappropriate for children. Please purchase with discretion.
