FITCHBURG DAILY SENTINEL, Massachusetts. An interesting set of four issues: Nov. 7; Nov. 8; Nov. 8, 10:30 edition; Nov. 10, 1916.
This set shows the transition from printing an erroneous Presidential election report, to showing some conflict with the facts, to acknowledging Woodrow Wilson actually won.
The banner headlines announce: "Hughes Sweeps Country on the Earliest Returns" "Many Claims Conflict" "Shifting Toward Wilson" and "California's Vote Gives the Victory to Wilson".
Each issue is complete and in nice condition.
