PUCK, New York, Nov. 15, 1893  Puck was America's first successful humor magazine of colorful cartoon caricatures and political satire, publishing from 1871 until 1918. It was also the first to successfully adopt full color lithography printing for a weekly publication. The color prints are much desired for their displayability. This issue has as its political cartoons:
front page: "An Old Imposition."
double-page centerfold: "Uncle Sam's Dismal Swamp."
back page: "Not a Happy Example."
Sixteen pages, 2 archival repairs to the back leaf, nice condition.
