Pages 9 & 10 contain a full page article: "The Slave Trade" which has much on the slave trade as conducted by European countries and efforts to stop it. One item notes: "...Portugal for a long time refused to abandon this trade...By a late treaty of England with Brazil the final period of the Brazilian slave trade is foxed 3 years from its date...thus in 3 years the slave trade will cease to have a legal existence in any part of the world...".
Sixteen pages, 6 by 9 3/4 inches, good condition.
