The top of page 31 has a one column heading: "DODGERS MAKE YANKEES DAFFY; WIN 4TH IN ROW" with subhead: "Gehrig Gets Four Hits in 14 to 12 Defeat" and small photo of Gehrig. First report coverage on the exhibition game just prior to the start of the 1939 regular season. This was in fact Lou Gehrig's last time he hit a home run in a baseball game before he was forced out of baseball with illness a short time later.
Complete with all 42 pages, this is the "rag edition" printed on very high quality newsprint meant for institutional holdings. In great condition as such, a few small binding holes at the blank spine.
