On page 3 under "Boston Theatre" is a listing for a play called "VENICE PRESERVED", with Mr. Poe as "Bedemar" (see) Plus another play at the same theatre titled: "MAID OF THE OAKS" with Mrs. Poe as "Maria" (see) This was the mother & father of Edgar Allan Poe, the famous author and poet. Rare to find such ads in period newspapers.
News of the day with other interesting ads. Complete with 4 pages, nice condition.
