DAILY RICHMOND EXAMINER, Virginia, March 27, 1863  A wealth of war-related content on the front page including: "The Enemy Attempt to Run Our Batteries at Vicksburg--One of their Boats Sunk with All on Board..." The back page has a lengthy editorial concerning the war, beginning: "The news comes in well. Pensacola is evacuated; two boats are destroyed at Vicksburg..." with much, much more. There is also much reporting from: "The Confederate Congress".
