Certainly the prime feature of this issue is the presence of five Civil War maps. Over half of the front page is dominated by one headed: "IMPORTANT OPERATIONS IN KENTUCKY AND TENNESSEE." while page 3 has an even larger map headed: "OUR BRILLIANT NAVAL VICTORY--Sketch of Beaufort, Port Royal & Forts Beauregard & Walker...". Page 10 has 2 maps: "The Scene Of Action" at Hilton Head, and: "Fort Walker--Diagram of the Fort at Hilton head with Position of Guns". And the back page has a rather large map headed: "THE GREAT NAVAL EXPEDITION" showing the coast from Savannah to above the Santee River (see). Many related column heads & text as well.
Complete in 12 pages, very nice condition.
