The front page has a very notable report on the extermination of the Jews in WWII, headed: "Report Hitler To Exterminate Jews in Europe". This is the report of Dr. Stephen S. Wise which includes: "...a campaign ...was planned to exterminate all Jews in Nazi-occupied Europe by the end of the year....was confirmed by the State Department...deals with how more than 2,000,-00-0 Jews already have been slaughtered in accordance with a race extinction order by Adolph Hitler..." with more (see).
This was one of the earlier reports which unveiled the horrors of the Jewish extermination plan, to become much more visible the closing weeks of the war in Europe. Other newspapers--N.Y. Times included--carried this report on inside pages. This report begins and ends on the front page.
Complete in ten pages, there is a paper crease down the middle of this article from before printing but it does not cause loss of text or readability (see). Otherwise nice condition.
