THE NEW YORK TIMES, December 23, 1935

* Charles A. Lindbergh flees America
* American reporter Lauren "Deac" Lyman
* Pulitzer Prize winning exclusive story - part 1

The top of the front page has a three column headline: "LINDBERGH'S FAMILY SAILS FOR ENGLAND TO SEEK A SAFE, SECLUDED RESIDENCE; THREATS ON SON'S LIFE FORCE DECISION" with subheads (see images). This is Lauren 'Deac' Lyman's Pulitzer Prize winning 1st installment of his exclusive coverage revealing that the Charles Lindbergh family was leaving the United States to live in England. Lyman worked for the New York Times, so this is the only publication you'll find this report.
Other news, sports and advertisements of the day. Complete in 38 pages, this is the rare rag edition that was produced on very high quality newsprint, with a high percentage of cotton & linen content, allowing the issues to remain very white & sturdy into the present. Given the subscription cost, libraries & institutions rather than individuals were the primary subscribers of these high-quality editions. Nice condition.
