The top of page 26 has a one column heading: "HENRY O. TANNER, PAINTER, WAS 78" with subheads. (see) First report coverage on the death of Henry Ossawa Tanner, painting artist who was the first African-American painter to gain international acclaim. I suspect this is one of the few publications to report this particular event as other titles in our inventory do not.
