The sport's section (page 14) has small one column headings: "Ruth, Long Distance Gun" "Boston's Infant Slugger Makes Four Home Runs in Baltimore" See image for first report coverage of a pre-season game in which Babe Ruth hit 4 home runs in six at-bats. Interesting he did this in his home town of Baltimore where his baseball career began. Was it this feat that made Ruth known as a big time home run threat ? This would be his final season with the Red Sox before being traded to the New York Yankees.
