March 07, 1929

THE NEW YORK TIMES, March 7, 1929

* David Dunbar Buick death
* Buick Motor Company founder
* Detroit automobile pioneer

The top of page 25 has a two column heading: "David Buick, Auto Pioneer, Dies in Poverty Whole Others Develop His Dream to Success" (see) First report coverage on the death of David Buick, founder of the Buick Motor Company. I suspect this is one of the few publications to report this particular event as other titles in our inventory do not.
Other news, sports and advertisements of the day. Complete in 52 pages, light even toning, minor spine wear, generally in very nice condition.
