The top of page 3 has an historic report on libel suit against the famed Woodhull and Claflin, publisher of the women's rights newspaper of the same name. The heads: "THE WOODHULL LIBEL" "Acquittal Of The Defendants" "Scenes In Court--Rearrest and Discharge of the Defendants--Deliberations of the Jury" with the report taking three-quarters of a column. A subhead reads: "How The Verdict Was Arrived At" (see).
Complete in 8 pages, browned at margins, 4 binding holes near the spine, good condition. Somewhat fragile.
