* Rare 19th century Hawaiian issue
Nineteenth century newspapers from Hawaii are extremely uncommon and therefore very desirable among collectors. Here is such an issue from what is now the capital city of Hawaii, and from when Hawaii was known as the Kingdom of Hawaii.
Half of the front page is taken up with ads while the other half has other items, including: "Education In Hawaii" "The Tug Pele" "The Hawaiian Loan" and more. The inside pages continue with a wealth of ads and other news items.
Complete in 8 pages, irregular at the spine with various margin tears, some discrete archival mends to inside pages. Somewhat fragile so it should be handled with care.
