DAILY ALBANY ARGUS, New York, Oct. 24, 1840 A feature of this issue is the rather large front page notice supporting: "For President, MARTIN VAN BUREN..." with more, and a nice engraving of a U.S. flag (see). He would be defeated by William Henry Harrison.
