THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, Nov. 28, 1782 

* Ending the Revolutionary War

Pg. 2 has a brief item from The Netherlands: "...Richard Oswald is appointed his Britannic Majesty's Minister Plenipotentiary to treat with the ministers of the United States of America. Who (says the writer) would have thought that Great Britain would have been the third power in Europe to acknowledge the Independence of America?" Also a bit concerning terms for peace: "On the Part of England" and then: "On the Part of the Enemies of Great Britain".
Page 4 has the continuation of documents & requests from Loyalist merchants in Charleston given the eventual evacuation of the city by British troops. The bkpg. has the latest news concerning negotiations for peace.
Eight pages, 8 1/4 by 11 1/2 inches, very nice condition.
