May 19, 1917
THE WOMAN'S JOURNAL, Worcester, May 19, 1917 Upper right corner notes: "Oldest Suffrage Newspaper In The World" and under the title: "Founded in 1870 by Lucy Stone and Henry B. Blackwell." As would be imagined much of the content is on women's rights & suffrage concerns, as the national right to vote would happen in a couple of years. The ftpg. has: "Patriotic Activities Occupying Women" "Woman Is Given High Office" "Women Introduce a New Measure" & much more, with much inside as well.
Complete in 6 pages, somewhat irregular at the spine margin, some archival mends near margins, generally good.
