SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN, New York. A bound volume containing all 52 weekly issues dating from July 2, 1859 through June 23, 1860. Each issue contains 16 pages. As might be imagined, an incredible wealth of scientific news of the latest inventions and improvements of the day. There are hundreds of illustrations with all content fully indexed.
Three-quarter leather bindings show wear, and the bound issues are loose from the binding. The volume could easily be disbound for individual issue sale.
