GAZETTE & BULLETIN, "Invasion Extra", Williamsport, Pennsylvania, June 6, 1944

* D-Day invasion of France (1st report)
* World War II German defense

One the most dramatic newspapers I have seen on the announcement of D-Day with a huge, bold, and dramatic front page headline: "INVASION LAUNCHED" with subhead and map of the invasion area as well. There is some text on the invasion as well, done in broadside-like format with one wide column (see).
Incomplete issue containing 8 of the 12 pages, some damage at the central fold with loss of text in the subhead (see), a little margin wear as well, nice for display as such.
