August 24, 1860

THE LIBERATOR, Boston, Aug. 24, 1860  This is the famous anti-slavery newspaper by famed abolitionist publisher William Lloyd Garrison. The masthead features two engravings, one of a slave auction and the other showing slaves being emancipated (see).
Articles include: "Execution of the Incendiaries" "Twenty-Two Insurrectionists Hung" "The Overwhelming Moral Issue of This Presidential Contest--The Slavery Question" "A Southern Confab About Lincoln" "Mr. Lincoln & the Colored Folks" "Daring Attempt at Slave-Catching" "Runaway Negroes" and so much more.
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, good condition. Great to have this slave-related content in this famous anti-slavery newspaper.
