The front page has an uncommonly lengthy article on: "The Mormons" taking over 1 1/2 columns. And it is not a kind one. A few bits include: "...It is no longer questionable that villainy, equal with fanaticism, has had a share in the events which have given notoriety to the community of Nauvoo...combined delusion and depravity on the surrounding region..." with much, much more.
Four pages, rejoined at the spine, several small mends mostly at margins, minor foxing at folds.
