The issue is filled with a wide variety of articles and at the back are several pages taken up with the latest news reports. Included is half a page under the heading: "America" which reports on the horrible effects of the Yellow Fever in Philadelphia (see).
Included are the 2 full page plates called for.
Complete in 88 pages, full title/contents page with an engraving of St. John's Gate, 5 by 8 inches, very nice condition.

This was the first periodical to use the word "magazine" in its title, having begun in 1731 and lasting until 1907.
