The front page begins with a note signed in script: Go. Washington, which introduces a very lengthy report: "The Causes of the Existing Hostilities between the United States & Certain Tribes of Indians..." which takes the balance of the ftpg. & most of pg. 2, signed in type: H. Knox, Secretary of War.
Four pages, the back leaf has some loss with archival mends making this leaf defective. The front leaf with the key content has some pg. 2 archival mends but no loss of text or readability.
