FRANK LESLIE'S ILLUSTRATED, New York, April 30, 1859 The front page has: "Sleeping Cars Now in Use on the New York Central Railroad". Inside has a nice doublepage centerfold: "Going to Pike's Peak, the New Gold Region" which includes 6 related prints amongst the text. Some of the prints care captioned: "Camp of the Emigrants" "The Wagon Emigrant" "Girls and Ox Team on the Road" "Train of Mining Emigrants on their Way to the Pike's Peak Gold Region" and more.
Other prints include several prints of: "Lebanon, Connecticut" and: "Court House, Omaha, Nebraska" "The Illinois and Michigan Canal Connecting Chicago & the West..." and more.
Sixteen pages, some foxing & light dirtiness at the margins, good condition.
