THE UNITED STATES' GAZETTE, Philadelphia, Feb. 6, 1813 Reports include: "A Bill for the Regulation of Seamen on Board the Publick Vessels..." (printing flaw here); "North Western Army" is a letter from a soldier at "Head Quarters, Upper Sandusky"; much reporting from "Congress" which includes: "Captain Hull's Remunerations Bill Thrown Out" beginning: "The bill allowing compensation to capt. Hull & the officers & crew of the Constitution frigate for the capture of the British frigate the Guerriere..."; a back page letter signed: James Madison with a letter by: John Rodgers (see).
Eight pages, 11 by 14 inches, never bound nor trimmed, minor spine wear, nice condition.
