LEOMINSTER DAILY ENTERPRISE, Massachusetts, February 14, 1929
* St. Valentine's Day Massacre
* George 'Bugs' Moran vs. Al Capone
The top half of the front page (right side) has a three line, two column head: "7 MEMBERS OF CHICAGO GANG LINED UP AGAINST WALL AND SHOT TO DEATH BY 12 MEN" with the report beginning: "Seven members of the North Side gang led by George 'Bugs' Moran were lined up against a wall today in a garage...and shot to death by 12 men...the slayers posed as policemen..." with more (see). Not a lengthy article, as further details were likely not available at the time as this is a same-day report.
Complete in 12 pages, light toning at the margins, generally nice.
