A nice newspaper from the capital of the Confederacy. The front page includes: "The Rumoured Advance of the Enemy Towards Gordonsville" "From the Army of Northern Virginia" "The Situation in the West" which is quite lengthy & includes many subheads; "The Situation In Kentucky".
The back page has a lengthy editorial (see for printing error here) and much reporting from: "The Confederate Congress". Also: "Iron-Clad Frigates--Bending Their Armour Plates" and "Telegraphic News"
Complete as a single sheet newspaper with a full banner masthead. Nice condition.
