SUPPLEMENT FOR THE YEAR 1798 for Gentleman's Magazine, England. Within this supplement issue, which was published at the end of the year, are nearly 4 pages on naval events in the Nile in Egypt including a letter signed in type by: H. Nelson. There is also a crude illustration of the "River Nile" from not long after Nelson's famous victory over Napoleon Buonaparte in the Battle of the Nile.Included are the two plates called for.
Complete in 66 pages, a banner heading at the top of the first page with the title, 5 by 8 inches, light damp staining to a lower corner, good condition.
