THE LONDON GAZETTE, England, February 4, 1766  The ftpg. has: "That Part of the Cargo and Treasure of The Ship Earl of Sandwich, whereof John Cocharan was late Commander, (who in his voyage in her... was, together with Captain Glass, his Wife and Daughter, Passengers, and some others belonging to said Ship, barbarously murdered by part of the crew thereof) having been found on the coast of Ireland, is now properly secured...", with more. Other news of the day and period advertising is also present. Complete in 4 pages, very nice condition, full red-inked tax stamp on the ftpg., measures about 7 1/2 by 11 1/2 inches.
